A dream in a dream...but I knew I was dreaming the dream...

Postby huntrix » Thu Jul 20, 2017 5:14 am

So I was in a dream (read receding ocean on the main dream page). I went to bed in my dream and I dreamed I was getting ready for school. (I'm a teacher- it's that time of year). We were at a teacher training and suddenly I realized I was dreaming. I told the lady I was with. She got upset with me when I said she wasn't real. I momentarily felt bad and got frightened and second-guessed myself saying, I'm going to feel like a jerk if this IS real. I knew it wasn't-so I stopped working and I flew. I didn't wake up from my dream in the dream though. I just kept flying. Flying dreams are my favorite.

Do you want to ready yourself to learn, and train yourself in emotions or relationships?
Maybe you are upset at what isn't realized.
You felt bad, afraid, second-guessed yourself maybe as if representing the other, as well as the other you, feeling like a jerk - if the opposite is real?
Maybe because you knew you weren't free, you flew freely, as that is everyone's favorite way they want to be.

A dream is a succession of images, ideas, emotions, and sensations that usually occur involuntarily in the mind during certain stages of sleep. The content and purpose of dreams are not fully understood, though they have been a topic of scientific speculation, as well as a subject of philosophical and religious interest, throughout recorded history. Dream interpretation is the attempt at drawing meaning from dreams and searching for an underlying message. The scientific study of dreams is called oneirology. :dreams:

The dream is one part of self telling self that you are not real. Which is an aspect of self that you wish weren't true. What would that be? If really a teacher you k how to think even if you would rather be lazy and not work.
