Lucid Dream within a Dream...

Lately I've been having more dreams, and more uncommonly, remembering them! This particular one is lucid... It's choppily written cause i wrone it directly after i woke up so bare with me... Are there any reasons someone dreams more vividly all of a sudden, and more frequently?

i was in someone's house, not sure who's. and I'd go into peoples bedrooms and they'd either stay asleep (They were grown men in kids beds). some of them would glare and growl at me, others would just sleep... The last room i crawled out of, the door started shrinking... and then i got out, went outside and i can't remember now... and then i woke up, but i couldn't move, it's like something was holding me down and then there was a huge rumble, like an earthquake and i couldn't move - i was in my bedroom for this one.. then i finally woke up and logged onto fb to make sure there wasn't an eartquake. :/
there was kittens in the house i was in too... little ones.
I was in control the whole dream.... but things we strange.
when the earltquake was happening i was worried about my daughter.... but i couldn't move.
it was a huge rumble, like thunder, and my bed shook.

Any advice would be so insanely appreciated! This is baffling ! Thank you in advance!
