Can non-lucid dreamers learn how to lucid dream?

I know there are topics above, so my apologies.

But I desperately wanted a proper answer.

I have lucid dreams almost never and I can probably count the times I've actually had one. I've never had a reeeally good one though. It doesn't feel that real, but it feels like I can control it.

Is there anyway that a non-lucid dreamer like myself become a lucid dreamer? I've heard all sorts of tips, like day dream a lot, think about lucid dreaming throughout the day, write something on your hand and check if you have it on your hand still in your dream, but none seem to have worked for me. I reeeeally want to become one, because I love escaping from the real world and for example I had a wonderful dream last night but I can only really enjoy it after it's finished. :<
