Dreaming like a video game

I figured it's a type of lucid dreaming, but sometimes I'll see myself and control what I do in a trial and error way. For example, I might want to jump over a creek. The first time I'll fall into the creek. Then I climb back up and push myself a little harder and I make it. I'll be going through a building and I'll take a right, then something bad/strange happens and I'll get sent back to the start of the building, then take a left and continue on safely. It often feels like I'm playing a video game because the challenges are usually kinda fun. I wonder if this "video game" like lucid dreaming style has ever happened to anyone else. I'd like to hear some other stories similar to this and maybe post some of my dreams like this if I have another.

As I just said in another post, this "video game" trial & error is a good opportunity to learn more about your mind.

You're learning how to control your actions as your consciousness is entering your subconsciousness of your mind. You can learn how far you can jump, you can push yourself to jump farther, you go right and run into enemies, or maybe you can go left and run into friends. However, perhaps you might want a little fun, a bit of a challenge, and go right again, purposefully running into enemies, trying to take them down, and learning more about yourself.

This little game scenario is meant to teach you about yourself, but it's up to you do keep learning, and to determine how you would like to learn - the easy way or the hard way?

I've never really looked at it that way..I guess it would be a good idea to learn from these experiences..I'm still young, so I'll get ahold of this sooner or later.
