Dream I watched myself die

I just woke up from a dream and am not sure what it means. I was dreaming that I was falling down from the sky and a whale swallowed me whole. I was then watching myself fall into the whale's mouth and remembered understanding that I had just died. I did not feel any pain and was accepting that I was dead. I then was outside of my parents house and saw my younger brother fanning a memorial of me. I'm not sure why he was doing that. I was trying to talk to him but he could not hear me. I then saw my older brother, sister-in-law, and niece walking up to my parents house. I was overjoyed to see them and was waving and shouting their names but they could not hear me. Nobody was saying a word and they were all very solemn. Then I saw my mom walking out to her car by herself. I could see her face was swollen from crying and I remember in my dream that was the first time I felt pain (sadness). I started to cry watching my mother cry and I walked up behind her and wrapped my arms around her so tightly, never wanting to stop hugging her. I remember seeing in her face that she could tell I was there hugging her, but then that she realized it was a figment of her imagination. But for that split second, I saw in her eyes that she knew it was me hugging her and she was comforted. Once she realized I was dead and I wasn't there, she was bawling again and so was I. I just wanted her to know that I was okay. That is when I woke up. I'm not sure what this dream means, can anyone give me any input? I'm also wondering why my other siblings weren't in my dream (I have 4 more siblings that were not there) and also my Dad was not in my dream. Thanks

It seems to me that you were dreaming about being a Ghost / Spirit, in a past lifetime. Don't take any offense if you don't believe in the following, I'm just trying to devise an answer for you that makes sense according to my logic.

The part on how you died does not seem to be clear, so, in my opinion, your mind has blocked that part out. It seems more logical if you died by being eaten by a shark, rather than a whale, but the mind is able to protect itself and death by a whale is more comforting. Unless, it was a Killer Whale, because they DO kill humans. Free-willy was a lie, for the most part.

Obviously, the other 4 siblings and father did not matter in this particular fragment of a dream. What mattered is your mother had felt pain from your death, and so did your younger brother, but as you attempted to scream, yell, and hold them closely, you could do not do so because you were a ghost / spirit, in another dimension.

Now, the reason you were able to hug your mom was because it was a cross-connection between emotion at a heightened level of exposure. You were extremely sad, she was extremely sad. This cross-connection enables the spirit to physically enter this dimensional plane of existence. This is backed up by the Theory of Push n' Pull; your mother pulled, you pushed = cross-connection.

I have no input of your dream but everytime i dream with my parents is because in real life im going through a real struggle and i dont want to share with them because i dont want to bother them with my problems....i dont know maybe there is something you want to share with your mother and you visited her in your dreams and connected with her across those invisible strings that connects all of us.....

I did like your dream and i think is very a very powerful dream and it gave me chills as i was reading. I think this also speaks a lot about you and who you are and I bet your a strong individual.....
