Stranded, Misdirection (Weird Dream)

Hey, this is my first time posting here, I have never really attempted to try to find out what my dreams mean before. I just recently moved, for the first time truly on my own, out of the state that my family is in. It was scary for me. There was also issues with my work that had stress piling up on me, the store transfer didn't do as planned, leaving me out of work for nearly two months because they had to wait for the paperwork to go through. A couple months ago I also broke off an engagement of 4 years.

This is pretty much how the dream went, and normally I don't remember these, I don't know if there is something behind this.

I planned a trip to Portland from SoCal, to go to a meetup to meet up with friends from a online community. Upon getting to the greyhound station, I find out the driver is actually one of the friends I was going to meet up in Portland. I am at the platform waiting to get on and looking around I see people waving goodbye to the others. I board the bus and get my seat and all seems good until I realize that we are in Kansas. I keep questioning the driver why we are all the way in Kansas and that this bus was supposed to go to Portland, I'm the only one who seems to be panicking, eventually the driver kicks me off the bus and tells me to go to the store (one of the store chains that I work for) to get help to get back home. It's dark outside, I have no phone, no money, and everything was left on the bus. I feel stranded and trapped as I try to look for help, but no one is around to ask for help, I eventually find one of the chain stores and go in and the management attempts to find my paperwork to see what they can do for me to get be back home.

At this point I wake up from the cats pawing at my face.

What I think this dream is doing is just a show of all the things you are feeling and going through in your waking life. Feeling stranded and paniked although noone else seems to be. On the outside you are calm and cool but on the inside your a mess and feel as if there is noone that can or will help you. so you feel alone. You are told to go to the store where all your stress seems to be coming from so that you can get these things in order. I hope this helps a little bit. I think its just all the stresses of life coming out in your dreams.
