Dream Guide?

Okay, so in the forums, I'm seeing some conversations about people finding and talking to their dream guide in a lucid dream... What is a dream guide and how do I find him/her?

A dream guide is usually not a stranger, but a deceased loved one, though they can take the shape of another on this Earth in order not to startle you. I once befriended a spirit guide, who had one blue eye and one brown eye, and was an American Indian in the 1800s and his great sorrow was in being called a "Half breed." I think that really hurt his feelings. I found him to be a pleasant ghost to know and he led me to finding a quality boyfriend and getting over some hang ups I had. People are not half but complete people.
