Here is another game that gets nowhere. To get a readable result would need more and different rules, as to greater length of entry, content, style and goal. Not to take away from the original friendly impulse that started it.

how did I get back to the beginning when I have come so far? To Sophie, 87 posts is very far. So in order to have some continuity, I will re-respond to Cat Whisperer's post after this brief public service announcement:

To Sheena, I enjoy the diverse directions that the story takes. Not sure what alterations to the rule could bring the cohesiveness to the story that I believe you are looking for, but I feel like this writing game is fun as it is. Even so, I will consider any suggestions you might have. I am going to reiterate the original rules at the end of this rant. The exquisite cadaver game was never intended to produce a coherent thought, but to make for some fun nonsense or even interesting new sentences (and later drawings). In order to enjoy it, I have found that I have to give up any control over the direction of the plot or character of the characters. It is sometimes dramatic, sometimes funny and often bizarre. I feel like there is no destination, so I have to enjoy the ride. Sort of like one time when I was riding a horse. I am a city dude and amateur rider. My country friends showed me how coax it to walk, canter, trot and even run. Then they told me to take it to the far, far end of the field before turning around to bring it back to the stable. The horse took off at full speed. I didn't even know it had a fifth gear. I felt like I was going to die, so I began to laugh; a good hearty laugh, since I thought it might be my last. This story is like that. I am not in control, so I am just enjoying the ride.

Reiteration of original rules:

1. Finish the sentence from the previous post.
2. Write a complete sentence.
3. Write an incomplete sentence for the next poster to finish.
