God help me is funny.
Red eye just eye candy.
Sideways cartoon derivative.
Long hair Blair witch photos suits you - very much in your body and your pose, good contrapposto. Prettier than short hair glamour shots.

Thanks. :P

I didn't take the short hair shots on purpose, by the way. It's from a video I made, I just paused it at random intervals and screenshotted what looked decent. I only got those three out of it.
xP I've got some really stupid photo's of myself. I make myself cringe sometimes.

Thanks again, for both the helpful advice, and compliments. Shockingly, the eye edit was incredibly easy. I've also done a yellow and purple one. I could do others if I wanted, but at the moment I'm fine with just seeing how far my skills go on digital edits.

Another edit of mine. Just made it. I did EVERYTHING for this, not just added to it, I got the pictures of the two women off Google.

Despite how good it looks, I think it was incredibly easy to make. :excited:

MORE, MORE MORE! Some more manips I've done. ^o^

Some drawings I've done. Not many, though.

The last one was just a doodle during class, done entirely in a black biro.

Some digital drawings I've done, entirely by myself, though I don't really like them. I did them on my Mom's laptop, using the little touch mousepad thing, though, so keep that in mind. xD The Anger one is meant to be scruffy. I did it when I was ( Obviously ) angry.

Aaand some more pictures of myself. These were from when I was twelve;

And these are recent. Some are pretty...Mm... Retarded. XD I don't like quite a bit of the stuff I do. The tree thing was Mom's idea, and I was tired, and grumpy. My clothes didn't match, either.

Mom has an eye for movement. If you had gone with it . . . tree looks like you.
Artist using own body as a canvas, now is quite conventional.
The bedroom photo, swept-up hair, self as bird is eye catching, funny, smart. Needs plain background.
12 year old photos are obscene.
Drawings clever. Lots of confidence with line. Contrapposto needs some emphasis on the weight bearing hip. Eye is bleh - recommend some work on the eye socket and bridge of nose - shape and depth.
Quite a lot of talent and commitment.

endelbendel Why do you say her 12 yo pics are obscene?

I think she is just expressing her own individuality in those pics. Better to have your own sense of style then be a slave to the masses. I would think pictures of 5 yo beauty queens would be obscene not those pics.

I like your art work, Doubtful Dreamer. Wish I was as creative as you.

12 is much too young for grotesque oversexualized play.
What would you say to a fashion ad that uses similar images of children?

I didn't find her pics sexual, curious you did ;) But that is your own perception of them, maybe not what she was even trying to portray, right? To me sexual is wet glossed up pouty lips, a bikini top and low cut pants or boy shorts with a camera angle being done a certain way.
Her pics are more artistic then sexual.

Well, if the children involved were allowed to do it, as in given written consent by their parents..Because in being minors they would have to have that consent for some national ad campaign to go out. If the parents agree and the kids are models, I would be fine with it.

greenhavoc nah, I don't mind discussing stuff..I was just curious as to why they thought those pics were obscene, and I got an answer I am contented with.

You're pretty, doubtful dreamer. :)

I used to have my hair like you did when it was short. It reminds me of Keira Knightley in Domino or Olivia from Law&Order SVU.

Woah. Guys. o_o It's been bloody ages since I've popped up on this site, sure, but what the hell? xD Thanks for the advice and compliments, but...Sexual? The day I took those 12 year-old pictures, I just thought my makeup looked cool! I've got no idea where anyone would get the idea that it was sexual!

And, again, thanks for the advice. I'll keep it in mind, but I do all this junk just for fun. <<; I only practice when it ties in with a subject we do in Art.

Ontop of that, I never really went for a realistic look to the eyes that I've drawn, so, yeah. From those pictures, you can't really judge the socket. No offence intended.

Anywho. Moar pictures!

(( I messed up the eye and eyebrow on that one. xD I'm not very good at drawing profiles of faces that have eyes. I know I -have- to work on that one. ))

Worthy exercise. Building your portfolio. Keep at it, get into a fine arts program and learn the technics you need.
Conceptual and symbolist inclinations here.
i like #2 - what it feels like to get a new idea.
The eyebrow problem is because of mistaken angle of eye socket - one of those technical matters, must first get anatomy right then add cosmetics and shading. Drawing from skeletons is like a musician practicing scales.

NB - 'Sexual' attribution is projection of the viewer, whatever that might mean about him. But also info to the artist that some aspect of the work itself has gotten in the way of artistic intention; you have not gotten that across.
