Sam Bursts out laughing "Sabe! You scared away the owner of the place!" He continues to laugh and turns to the door.

"Maggie come back!" He attempts to stand back up, but his first attempt fails.

"Stupid legs... *mutters something incoherently*" He tries again and this time gets up

Sam looks at Sabe... She has a fire in her eyes, but not in a dangerous way.

"You think so?"

Still embarrassed from walking in on Sabe and Sam upstairs, Maggie gets down two glasses, one for ale, and one for whiskey. Once they are full she quickly runs upstairs, not spilling anything and sets the two glasses down before the closed door. "The drinks are outside the door when you want them, careful don't spill them!" She yells, going back down the stairs to relax.

***Sanick, I've no idea which thing you were refering to when Sam said 'you think so?' ws it the eyes or the embarassing part? Sorry becky, i just had to fit a sex joke in somewhere ^^***

"Yeah," She says, still that fire in her eyes, "You think I'd lie?" She gives him a wry smirk when Maggie yells through the door. "Sit your ass back down, I'll get it." She says as she stands up slowly making her way across the room to the door to get their drinks. "I freaking love her..." Sabe says as she holds up a mug of whiskey and a mug of ale.

Sabe stumbles her way back to the bed and hands Sam his mug, "Now back to the matter of my dirty work...You know not just anyone can do it, and do it good." She laughs saying it loud enough for Maggie to hear as she stomps up the stairs again.

Sam watches her walk to the door. She is walking with attitude, throwin her hips back and forth like she owns the place. Is she trying to seduce me?

He takes the mug from her as he finishes his breakfast plate. He nods in appreciation, still chewing his last bit of food.

Sam gets a little grin. "I've always been good at handling dirty work." He winks at her. He downs the Ale.

"How many times have I heard that before only to see a man fail?" She asks him slyly, sipping at the whiskey in her mug. She looks down at the off-brown liquid and then back up at Samuels half-empty mug. She sets the whiskey on the table to the side of the bed. Her eyes meet his and she leans forward, her nose almost touching his.

"Guess we'll have to wait and see if you keep your word on that end too, now won't we?" She stands again and smiles at him. She begins to walk towards the door.

He gets up and moves to Sabe. His nose touches her, and he brushes her hair over her ear. "I'm much more then "par"" He says to her in a low hushed voice. He then walks past her, allowing the word to sink in.

He moves out the door, headed downstairs

*Sabe stands in the doorway, jaw dropped slightly in shock. Her heart is racing, still surprised by the proximity he'd shown her. He'd used her game and turned it against her.*

She hangs her head in defeat, "Damn it..." She turns and elaves through the doorway, skipping down the steps taking them two at a time. "Sam..." She says when she enters the bar. "I didn't...I wasn't..." She stumbles over her words. "Sam."

Sam Turns back to face her with a smile on his face. Oh sweet victory

"Couldn't keep up with the fire hu?" He winks at her. "Its ok Sabe, I am not angry" He starts to look around in an old cloest that survived that beating the building took.

He pulls out some clothes. "In fact if anything, you got me wound up" He gives her a playful smile.

He holds out the clothes in front of him. WAY too small. He throws them off the side and continues looking

"Well then congrats on out-smarting me." She tells him sarcastically, picking up the clothes he'd tossed. They'd probably fit her. She can't help but smile as he smiles so playfully back at her.

"Who says that was even the fire though, Sam? The game has only just begun." She turns to go get dressed,

"And it's a game I intend to win." She smiles at him with that half-lidded gaze again, the fire in her eyes even more noticable than before.

Finally finds clothes that might fit him... a little bit, but they will do.

"I didn't outsmart you i ju-" He turns to look at Sabe, and sees her getting undressed

"remember that comfortable thing i was talking about?" He looks at her shedded cothing then back to her "Not that i mind..." He says with a grin

She shakes her head and scoffs loud enough for him to here her, her bindings and the wrap around her torso covering anything of impotance to him. "Remember that comment about you being a pervert?" She asks playfully as she turns around, buttoning the pair of pants she'd pulled on.

"Oh, that reminds me, I never got to finish my little comment about being comfortable..." She bends down her the shirt and pulls it over her head, but not before Sam notices a long wide scar on her right hip. She looks to Maggie who's hiding her head in her arms as they change, "I'll tell you later."

He smiles, "Now i am curious." He notices the scar but says nothing. "Well if we are gonna be that open.." Sam begins to take off his shirt, but notices Maggie hiding her face.

"Eh, maybe another time Sabe" He winks at her.

"Maggie, i would like to take a hot bath. Does your equipment for heating the water work? Or do i need to build a fire to warm it up?"

Maggie replies "No it still works, i will help you. The tub is upstairs though" Maggie leads Sam to the back for hot water for a bath

Sabe blushes and watches curiously as Sam and Maggie hed upstairs. Maggie comes back down but avoids Sabe's gaze still embarrassed.

Maggie shakes her head and mumbles something under her breath.

Sabe laughs and rolls up the sleeves on the shirt to her elbows. She eyes the stairs and decides against the thoughts crossing through her mind and settles for sitting at the bar. "So...I should probably apologize for scarring you earlier."

"It's fine. Just unexpected I guess."

Sabe nods, "It was one of those, in the moment kind of things." She begins thrumming her fingers on the bar. "I'm usually not that open with anyone, he brings out that side of me...can't blame me though, he's good looking and good tempered. he has one hell of a sense of humor, too." Sabe tells the owner.

Sam removes his shirt, his body riddle with scars from what would appear to be a life time of fighting. He unwraps his new memories, and looks at Sabes stiching on them. Damn this is probably gonna sting a long.

He takes off his pants, and slowly lowers himself into the soapy water. He holds in the desire to yell in pain. The water burns his possibly infected wounds. However, Samuel knows he needs to clean up. He has gone over a week without a shower, the dirt in his wounds is unimaginable. After getting completely lowered in, he sits back and relaxs for the first time in a long time.

His mind however gives him no reprieve as he relives the past few days.

Sabe laughs, "I think i'm going to head up stairs and see If I can get some more sleep. Its force of habit that I'm up every thrity minutes...safety thing frombeing on the run so long."

Maggie nods to her and Sabe stumbles up the stairs and into the room she'd shared with Sam. She tosses the new shirt over her head, she'd have to do something about those sleeves. She crawls onto the bed in her pants and bindings and lays her head on the pillow, her eyes slwoly clsoing.

Sam finally decides to get out of the tub. He gets out of the tub and realizes he left his towel in the bed room and clean clothes in the bedroom.

I hope they are both still downstairs.

Sam sneaks over to the door, and peaks his headout. He looks right and left, All clear.

He limps across the hallway as fast and silently as he can. Once he reaches the door he hears someone coming up the stairs. He hurries and opens the door, then closes it behind him.

That was too close, almost got busted there. He turns around and faces the bed, only to see Sabe laying on the bed

Sabe jumps as Sam slams the door shut. She sits up still groggy and rubs her hands over her face, muttering something about not haveing to make so much noise. She lays back down and rolls over to the other side of the bed.

Sam sighs and starts creeping across the room silently.

"I thought I was the one going to take advantage of you." She says still facing the opposite side. "Running around naked though? I think that's considered cheating in our little game, don't you? How would you like it if I ran around stark naked, soaking wet?" She thinks about her question. "You don't have to answer that."

He Smiles, "i think i'd rather like you naked. I also dont remember making rules for our game." He pulls on his shorts. He begins wrapping his leg again. He still struggles a little bit without his ring and pinky fingers.

"I apologize for waking you" He says quietly. He looks up at her. Her figure is pronounced by the sheets on top of her. She really is a beautiful woman. I wonder what she would have been like had things not gone so...Ill for her.

He finishes wrapping his leg, then begins to work on wrapping his finger stubs

"I was going to be up in another ten minutes anyway." She tossed the blankets off of her,"I hate the weather here, its freezing one day, and hot the next."

She rolls over and looks up at Sam, "No rules? How is it a game then, its more like a free-for-all that way?" She sighs, "If you keep staring like that I'm liable to gouge out your eyes," She laughs as he blushes.

"Do you want some help with that?" She points to the wrap and his hand.

Sam looks at her. "Well shit if you take my eyes out, then i am really no good to you! Isnt a free for all more fun though? Well, we dont have a place to call home really... So where do you want to go? He smiles a little, then gets frustrated with his wrap.

He calms down a bit, lowers his head and says Humbily "Yes... i Need help." He holds the Badage with his good hand.

She takes the bandgage and slowly starts wrapping his hand, "we might as well stay here until we're in a little better condition. Maggie doesn't mind, and truth be told, I can't cook to save my life. She can, and we are the reason every one she knows is dead. We kind of owe her for her help despite everything."

her eyes stay focused on the wrap, "I was terrified you were going to die. I didn't leave your side the entire time you were unconcious." She tells him quietly as she finishes the wrap. "I finally had something to lose."

He looks at her. For the first time he has known her. Her eyes are soft... almost caring?

"Sabe...I'm not going anywhere. You're stuck with me" He whispers back to her. Trying to reassure her. Truth be told, thats twice he almost died in the last week. Twice she saved him. At first he partialy blamed Sabe for getting him rushed, and full of revenge. But now... He is glad she was around. He would have died this week without her.

He lets out a small gaps as she pulls the wrap tight on his hand.

"Me too Sabe" He lets go of her chin. "looking back, i have a hard time envisioning any thing before we met to be honest. Having you around just feels right" He admits. Well that sounds alot more desperate then it did in my head

He looks kinda confused for a moment, but then he stands up. His entire chest, stomach, both sides, and back are covered in scars. He moves to his pants and shirt, and begins getting dressed.

"If so, not by much. You got naked points on your side." She says with a light laugh. She sighs and looks up at him, "My wrap is coming loose." She tells him as she sits back down on the bed, tugging at the wrapping keeping her ribs stable.

"Lemme help you" he kneels in front of her, and begins to retighten the wrap. He Cant help but think what these two wounded warriors look like to the owner of the Tavern, or to anyone else who will see them soon.
THey are both injured, bandaged up, and running from a serious group of people trying to kill them. The whole time, playing a game, that Samuel isnt even sure what the purpose of it is, and falling head over heals for each other.

This world is full of suprises.

He looks at her, gives her a small smile, and then finishes tightening the wrap against her skin.

Sabe places her hands on his shoulders as he finishes tying the wrap. "She was so red when she asked..." She gasps as he tugs, checking his work quality.

"Thanks."

"I feel kinda bad for her. She takes two strangers in, feeds us and provides shelter for us, and yet we never see her, nor does she talk much. However, in our defense, we have become pretty intertwined the last few days"

He thinks for a moment, "I didnt think about that. We have slept the last few days away. I could use another nap though." He yawns and Stretches.

He looks at Sabe, "Intertwinded..? Oh.." He laughs a little and blushes a bit, "Maybe that wasnt the best word to use?" He scratches his head. "I just meant that we are stuck together. I dont plan on ditching you anytime soon, and i dont think you are gonna ditch me anytime soon. I mean, if you were going to you would have already." He shrugs. "I dont know... i just think we are *he stutters for a moment, unable to find a word* ... Just together i guess"

She blushes, "Just together..." She mutters, "That's a way to put it" She lays back on the bed, taking up most of it.

"On the matter of our game, the person that looses has to admit it, for what ever reason. Until then, everything is free game."

He smiles "i Could get naked again if you want?" HE laughs then crawls onto the bed. He crawls on top of Sabe, between her legs, and puts his arm down next to her head. Their bodies "intertwinded". He looks at her in the eyes and whispers

"Good luck with the Game then Sabe, because i dont lose." He puts his arm under her head, the other hand goes on her leg, and his lips meet hers. Long enough to mean business, but just short enough to tease.

He then pushes her onto a little over half the bed and lays down next to her. He gives her a wink, and rolls over onto his side

"You're gonna have to do alot more then that to win!" He picks her up, and sits on the edge of the bed so her legs are around him still on the bed. He then stands up, and turns around and puts her back on the bed, so she is underneath him with her legs in the air. He puts his mouth by her ear and whispers "You wont beat me Sabe. I can be very...Persuasive" He kisses her neck.

Maggie PLEASE do me a favor and dont come up here for like 2 hours. I REALLY need this. I swear if you dont come up here, i will build you a new freakin tavern

"Cheater.." She hisses as her hands run through his hair, Sam nuzzeling her neck.

"I think you are only calling cheater because you know you are loosing" He whispers in her ear. Damn its getting hot in here. I'm gonna rock you Sabe. You wont even be able to stand up when im done

Sam begins kissing down her neck, and then back to her lips. Just as his hands begin to move away from her legs. The door comes busting in.

"Sabe, Sam Com-... Oh MY GOD I's so sorry!" Maggie goes beat red and turns around.

Sam looks at Maggie. "Maggie, what the hell!? Don't you know how to knock? Be happy you didnt show up 5 minutes from now"

"I'm sorry, but you need to see this! There are more survivors!" She goes back Down the stairs.

Samuel Looks back at Sabe. "She interupted us to say there are more people here? This sucks"

He locks lips with Sabe again for quite a long period of time. He pulls away.

"Lets go Darlin. Hopefully these people dont want to kill us, because i'd much rather continue THIS later, over having to stitch you up again"

He grabs his shirt as he walks out the door

"Fuck!" She yells as she gets to her feet and picks up the shirt she'd thrown off earlier. she pulled it on, and skipped down the steps, two at a time.

She meets Maggie and Sam helping people into the bar. I hate bad timing

"How many are there, Maggie?" Sabe asks still trying to calm herself down enough to think.

"There looks to be 5 plus a few guards. Maybe 8 guards?" Maggie says

An older woman who was walking with the group begins hugging them and says something incoherent.

Everything starts to get real loud as everyone begins talking and asking about friends and family.

Sam Walks over to Sabe, he whispersin her ear. "These guards all look like local guards. I have a feeling this place is gonna turned into a stagin area for everyone one." He Pauses "we need to move to another house in the area, or to a new city. This place will get crowded fast and i dont trust anyone here except you."

Sabe turns her head, "What about Maggie, Sam? She can't take care of all of these people, if these are the only survivors of the city, we have to help." She rolls her eyes at her own patheticness, "God, I sound like a fucking charity marshal."

She looks to the Older lady talking in a tongue others didn't seem to be fluent in. She looks back to Sam, "She says she can't find her husband."

*Sam is dumbfounded that Sabe understand her*

Sabe frowns at Sam and walks over to the lady, speaking in the strange language. "Sam, her husband was an official guard to the city. " She calls to him.

"I suppose we could go look around? It might give us a chance to search other buildings for survivors?" He throws back out there. "It also might give us a chance to find which builds can be rebuilt quickly, and then occupied"

Damn i am whiped. She says we should stay and help. I respond with Yes ma'am...Lets hope she doesnt catch on too fast
