My version of the creation story

Soul of the Living
Once Upon a time there was a God
This God was the creator of all living things.
He created the monkeys and the hippos, and he created the trees and the water.
But when he began his very last creation, he wanted it to be different from all the rest.
So he began this creation, first giving this creature 2 legs in which they could walk up right on, and 2 arms in which to build and sculpt as he did
He made them 2 eyes and 2 ears.
He sculpted them a nose and a mouth.
When he was finally finished his creation, his only task left was to give his creation LIFE.
But he did not know how.
He could give them arms and he could give them legs.
But he did not know how to give them LIFE.
He thought and He thought until he could not think any more.
He was angry.
He did not know what to do.
He cried out in frustration,
“How do I give mankind life?”
When he yelled one of his angels happened to over hear him. His name was Gabriele.
Gabriele was sad that his god was unhappy. So he began to think as well.
So he thought and he thought, and when he thought he could not think any more, he came across an idea.
What if mankind was given souls?
With this he set off in search of all the other angels. When he found them, he gathered them all together, and told them of his idea.
Many of the angels were very confused by this, for they too, did not know how to make a soul, but they agreed to try.
And try they did. They tried singing and they tried dancing, but nothing they did could make a soul.
Gabriele became sadder. He could not make his god happy.
But through his sadness, he came across another idea.
He could ask the Goddess, for she was the creator of mystical things. But she was very far away, so his journey would be long. But this did dampen his spirit.
He set off, flying for many days until he came to the Goddess’s great fortress.
He walked up the great steps until he came to knell before her.
“What brings you to me, so far from home dear Gabriele?” the goddess asked him.
“I came here in search of answers, my goddess,” Gabriele replied.
“For what answers do you seek?”
“How do you make a soul?”
With this the Goddess did laugh. She then placed her hands on the sides of Gabriele’s face, “You cannot make a soul, my dear Gabriele. Souls can only be born,” she smiled.
“Is there anyway to give a soul to a human?” Gabriele asked.
With this the goddess’s face began to brighten, and she laughed in great happiness.
“You can give a soul to anything, but to give a soul to something that is not mystical is something very magical indeed.”
Gabriele smiled, and fluttered his wings. He was very happy.
“I must tell God of this, he will be most appeased,” Gabriele said happily
“Yes of course, and I will come with you.”
So together they flew to God. They flew as fast as they could, and then faster,
and when they finally reached the God’s Great Mountain, they told him of their good news.
God was very happy, and smiled a smile so big, it created a light so bright, no eye could see.
Together the God and Goddess worked together to mould another human, and together they gave each of the humans a soul.
With that God gave them breath.
From that day on Mankind was Born.

Hope you like it !
