Victory

[Nightingale]

With broken sword in hand,
Despair flooding my heart,
My knees fell to the sand,
Death's seizure at it's start.

The Light shone from the clouds,
To have my veins surge with life,
No longer hiding behind shrouds,
But burning away all strife.

The path has come to its end,
But now has begun the story,
For The Light will now mend
and lead me to victory!
