I am making this so I can add all my poems on one thread so I dont have to keep going back to find what ones I have already posted. I will be re-adding my old poems on this thread to. I like feedback so it is ok to post if you want.

1. My Chance

I want to fly
I grab hold
of the railing
I step up
I look down
I see nothing
But Black water
Right below me
This is my chance
My chance to fly
I look up
The clouds turned gray
The rain starts to pour
the lighting strikes
the thunder loud-ens
I let go of the railing
I balance myself
I look ahead
I see nothing
I close my eyes
I still see nothing
I feel nothing
I hear nothing
For I am numb
I open my eyes
I take one step
I take another
I fail
is it too late
to not want to fly.

2. Drop Down
Drop down sweetly for me my love
where the torrid angels sing
and bring to life your silent prayer
with the promise of black wings

Drop down sweetly for me my love
where southern winter writhes
in the icy grip of loneliness
one January ember shines

Down below the mystic moon
in poetry of pain
from ashes of your fading faith
preserved in woven chains

Deep inside the depths of you
the whispered needs were told
another tasted dreams the same
of fires burning cold

And further down the bridge was found
and the stars fall down without a sound
and the princess cried and the phantom heard
and the love was known in the rhyming words
and her faith was found and his shadows warmed
and the woven chains were now disarmed

With the poetry of the undeceived
when the phantom whispered
and the princess believed.

3. Walk

Dream, dream away, lost in loves passionate dance
for transient sorrows slip away
and fade in the haze of the trance

Lost like a promise concealed
in the wild of your canopied skies
a smile like a vision revealed
in the slow burning blaze of your eyes

In echoes of warm Autumn leaves
and burnt golden sunsets serene
or the dawn where the silver mists weave
where we walk through a forest of green

Warm when the winds drift away
from a world that could not understand
and i'd sail to forever today
if I knew I could still hold your hand.

4. Lost

There is an ache
deep in my soul
dark and endless,
never satisfied
Taunting my joy,
this throbbing pain
consumes me

In this pain
I continuously dwell,
bound by eternal
doubt,
uncertainty
always questioning
the answer
nowhere

Everywhere I look,
joy,
love,
peace,
contentment-
everywhere but
here

How much time
must pass
until I know
that which
my heart yearns
to have
to hold
to be?

I long for a life;
just one life,
A life lived,
longed.
A life loved,
lost.

5. Echoes
Into the silver realm of dreams
behold the Stygian black nightmare
erotic this yearning
undulating gaze whispered breathless

Pry your eyes from under the rose
lipstick petals crushed
moonlight pales the resonance of you
Your innocence fades

In shadow deep screams
suffer the lonely days
final shine for winter eyes
In deep blue dreams of May

Painted kisses coil in waiting
emptiness bristles beneath my skin
colder still are the feelings fast fading
warmed where illusions begins

A taste of me lonely
swallowed in midnight bliss
the words you whisper
paint for me pictures of your kisses.

As if I were Real

To see me
please see me
Feel my breath
remember it

Touch me
as if I were real
to your eyes
to your heart

Do no forget me at all
For death comes
it travels closer
with every passing
of the hour

To be forgotten
is to not exist
I would rather be
a thought
Then dust on the
fiercest wind

Rather to be a whisper
then lost forever
to be ink on paper
word on tongue
tear upon cheek

Remember me
Please
Feel these words
as a lovers touch
upon your hair

A wisp
A promise to be there
All I ask of you my love
is to just remember me.

I do not fear
the ceasing of my breath
The halting of the heart
Nor the fading of my face
in your memories

I fear to fade completely
from this place that
bore me
From the hearts that
love me

I need you
to understand
I do not want
for you to cling
or dream
of me completely

Just let me live
behind your mind
Just beyond your
fondest memories
So that you
may think of me
When the warmth
of the sun
Blesses your cheek

All I ask
Is to be the happiness
Behind the smiles
the laughter in your dreams

She ran so free, so happy and wild
she was so smart and only a child
she was short with hair flowing long
she saw the good and nothing was wrong

She was dying, her parents knew
She was fading, there was nothing they could do

Time threatened to take her away
a little piece faded every day
no longer wanting to sing and play
like a corpse in the dirt, she would decay

Years goes by, she won't last
she is growing, forgetting her past
she is dying and her parents know
they see her fading, fading so slow

The old her is gone, there is something new
the old her was dead, and she knew
for her the old didnt make any sense
it was time for the end, the end of innocence.

Phantom

From one darkness to another
Unzipped your body like a long evening grown
and add your name to the visitors' book of the dead
Your our of sight and out of mind
A flick of the switch. A stage darken by neglect
I am your breath in the cold winter's air
I am a melody that the wind has caught and blown away

From one darkness to another
Doom is dark and deeper than any streets that follow
like a tedious argument of insidious intent
A soul that has kept God in prison
I am the frost by the road that leads to my slumber
Vanishing with every step to a depreciate place left undone
I am the words written on the mirror which only
the steam of a hot shower can reveal
I am like dreams you cant remember

From one darkness to another
Moonlight leaks between the roof planks of this ruined house
I become an invisible spirit that hides inside your heart
For you will always share in my immortality
Since I have so often breathed the heavenly
sweet fragrance of your soul, enshrined in the darkest shadows
I lie within these walls, a boneless ghost
I am a mirage that you can never quite reach

From one darkness to another
Whatever breathes here will vanished into air
Memory, what do you want from me?
This is Pain's return address
Now faced with the reality of what has haunted me for
days
years
centuries
Somewhere a clock is mourning
I am the memory which you cant remember


I should doubtlessly become a shadow of myself

4. Lost

There is an ache

Masquerade

When the setting sun glows with the red of the rose
Awaken the fire inside
In a dark masquerade as the orchestra fades
On the wings of the raven he rides

With a crisp serene drift like a dream
tangled on the Autumn breeze
like a twist in time tilled in silent rhyme
echoing through the trees

Laced in wicked display with the passion to stay
Weaving a warm tale to bind
a smile with the ray of a silvery blade
Whispering deep in your mind

Like a dark serenade in a midnight charade
a velvety blanket of gold
shifting the shape of the shadows it makes
warming the depths of your soul.

New moon

There's a new moon out tonight and it's the darkest night of the year
You can hear children crawling beneath their beds and clutching their sheets in fear
While murmuring their prayers and hitting their lights as they wait for the sun to appear

There's a new moon out tonight and it's the coldest night I've seen
Lovers lay close by fires burning bright, slowly breathing in the soothing scene
as they smell the smoke from a thousands chimneys and watch as they give the air a hint of filthy green

There's a new moon out tonight and it's the quietest I ever heard
no cars nor boots traverse the streets as the night forever remains unstirred
with its perfect stillness only broken by the silent flapping of shadowy birds

There's a new moon out tonight and I can feel it call my name
Though it sits still and cold it whispers all the same
calling me to walk the empty streets, perhaps, to join in a game

So though there's a new moon out tonight it rests alone no more
it has me by its side to share the things the night has in store
and it's there I'll walk in the chilling air until my moon sinks below the floor
only to rise again another night to call me out my door.

Beautiful

How can I show you that you are beautiful
When you always look the other way
Finding imperfections
with every living breath
Feeding yourself deceit
every night as you lie in bed

How can I show you that you are beautiful
When you see only flaws in the diamond
and not the sparkle that it holds
You judge yourself with consequence
Tearing down what nature built
and turning it into darkness cold

How can I show you that you are beautiful
When you dont look into the mirror
See with tear-streaked eyes
How can you see yourself as I do
When you're peering through a looking glass
Wrapped by doubt and loathing
brewed within your mind

How can I show you that you are beautiful
When your beauty is just too much
and leaves me lost for words
chocking on every thought
While trying to explain something so clear
that it is written all over your face

How can I show you that you are beautiful
When the world is not enough
and a million voices
fail to change your song
Unable to silence
the doubt that beats away

No, I cant show you that you're beautiful
No matter how hard I try
But I'll whisper it to you every night
as you drift off to sleep
and hope that one morning
you'll wake up with eyes wide open
and see yourself as I do

A stunning reflection
and a ray of sun

Resonance of Rain

Veiled curtains flow,
wrapped in spiral winds of confusion
this darkened breeze will know
how storm clouds breed illusion
this empty room so torn by the storms of yesterday

tempest dreams to blow
teacups filled with dripping memories
whirlwinds moving slow
stir the walls with jaded tapestries
roll the river wild when the treetops start to sway

a winter garden grows
lust with flowers of uncertainty
moonlight tangled in the thorns
with the winding vines of jealousy
and tend the bitter nectar deep inside

falling petals filled with wounds
hide their fragrance from eternity
for the beauty never blooms
in the rain of insecurity
and the rainbow never shines in darkened skies.

Illusions

A taste of me lonely
weep to me of lasting darkness
down with me there
cold in the earth
as the leaves pile above me

A touch of decay
and the sadness forever growing
holding you near
silent in waiting
and the cold winds blow through me

Warmed by the flames
of a love that remembers
deep in my heart
tragic in being
where once was here

Dear to you
I that have died
Sad to me you dont remember
lost to your visions and memory

Falling into the Sky

There's a chance when in darkness of falling into the sky
The danger lies in the lingering of consciousness upon the heavens
Hours caught up in the longing eyes cast to the stars
are breathing,
dreaming,
believing
need and imagination captured visions of fairy tale magic,
waltzing within your heart and mind.

Enchantment can lit you and carry you away on the fanciful wings of the dream
Once captured and taken
the dreamer is helpless to deny the drawing of the night sky upon their thoughts
The evening hours illuminated by starlight are spent
in an endless calling to step out upon the veranda
and watch again,
wish again,
wait again

Sparkling,
twinkling,
flashing
upon the darkened velvet drop
like some golden code begging for the knowing eye
Shine for the dreamer
Shine for the believer
Shine for the patient gazer
And thoughts
wishes
dreams
are cast down and formed,
molded into the fabric of the mind

They drop down slowly
and embed their ties into the heart so that nothing of the earth below,
can hope to dissever the heavenly sentinels beckon and spell
Weaving in Whispers, "Come and sail on my silvery dream"
In the riddle of starlight and the darkness of space
there is a fairy tale awaiting you
Reaching and pulling you to take the dance into your smile
engrave the reflection into your eyes
and carry the passion with you forever
