Eyes cut out?

Okay so I had a dream that I was being followed by several scary looking people, who tried unsuccessfully to scare me.Regardless of their looks and popping out at me, I was(acting) unfazed..so then I hear commotion at the end of a dock, and when I reach the end of the dock there are several people reaching out to a guy on a wooden raft, and somehow this is someone I recognize.. the guy is crying and pulling his coat over his face. When I reach out to touch him(to comfort him), he looks up at me and screams and his eyes are gouged out and bloody. So I had to look away because it was so horrible. ANY ideas on what in the world this is all about??

Hi Diamond, this is a tough one to interpret knowing nothing about your relationship with this person. Eyes cut out normally represents either a refusal to see the truth or a loss of a sense of identity. In real life, are you trying to help this person and he refuses your help, or has he had issues dealing with the loss of a significant other or a job?

Wow Vigo,ya know,that does make some sense to me. I have been struggling with a personal issue and a trying-to-be controlling boyfriend...maybe myself is trying to tell me that I'm losing my sense of who I am? Crazy,man. It's something to think about,thanks for your insight!
