Snake in my dream

Postby MarilynR » Fri Jan 18, 2019 9:07 am

I woke this morning after a dream of being in a house with a few people around me then I looked at this snake in the middle of the floor....I picked it up and kind of swung it in the air and it coiled around my fingers...I then threw it off and it was still knotted up and landed in the middle of the floor. The people around me were very upset or mad at me then the snake uncoiled itself and came slithering towards me and I jumped up onto a couch or chair because it was trying to strike at me so then I became fearful..it tried striking two or three times and then I woke up. Does this make any sense or have meaning to anyone? Is really appreciate the input! Thanks!!

Hello Marilyn,

The house is your own mind. A snake in a woman's dream usually symbolizes male sexuality. So, in the beginning of the dream, you are sort of playing with it. After that, you feel fear and are posed to fight it. This could be your unconscious considering being romantic with a man, then tapping into the anxiety that you also have regarding such a relationship. The fact that other people are watching you, makes me think that part of these feelings are about you considering what other people might think.

Does any of that make any sense to you?

Peace,
