Someone Please Help me

In my dream I was at my dads picking up animals I wanted to save... I don't know where all of them came from but.... I was grabbin the cats and my friends were grabbing the other animels. The small animals where inside and the big dogs were outside. We were getting them because I think it was something like a zobie Apocalypse. But the 'zombies' were talking. Allison- my best friend- and I were at my Grandmothers. The same sean kept repeating until we screwed up and the 'Zobies' got in. My grandmother didn't know they were infected in a way and she would open the door up to them. Ally and I had to hold the door closed while I tried to lock it. The first two times were got it. Than it repeated a third time and we got to the door to late. It seemed like they were just trying to get Ally and I. I got the lock on the door and sighed with relief. I blinked and the door flew open. They came after us and for some reason they couldn't get us so they grabbed my grandmother instead. She just kinda.... vanished when they whispered something to her. We ran outside to the back yard and I looked around the yard, I grew up here most of my life so I know there's no easy way out unless I wanted to get caught by them. Ally and I jumped the fence and began to run down an alley, which is weird because the houses around my grandmothers house are fence to fence. So I think we had been running for a while... we just had a time skip. At the end of each side of the alley were some of the 'zombie' people after us. I looked up at a ladder and the dream ended. Like the bad clifhanger of the book.

I've been running this dream over in my head constantly and trying to make sense of it but it's not working to much. I even tried looking up some of the maid key-point here but still couldn't understand it. A little help please?
