I had a strange dream last night. The first was when I was standing but noticed my ankles were broken/cut through. But I was still walking. I noticed the lines where my feet were cutoff from rest of my legs. I still walked slowly and it didnt hurt but it didnt feel comfortable. I kept walking just thinking of what had caused this.
So then I switch over to being in a farm with vegetable garden. No animals just gardens. So I have a huge truck with people helping load it. It is overflowing with watermelons. They are huge and long. Ripe. So some are sticking out since so full that I tell workers that I need to put those in my car (the ones that are overflowing). So we load up and start driving, because we are going to sell them. It turns out the workers are my co-workers in real life. They are all joyful and excited, joking along the way. We end up someplace where I see a huge tree. They unload and lots of people show up.
I guess they are buying and then one person comes to me and asks, "Who is the father?" I look at the watermelon seed packets he has. I don't know what he means, but assume he is asking what type of watermelon it is. I respond that I don't know and he leaves.
Then two men are by my side with a child. The child asks someone what happens if you take your life. I jokingly say that you go to hell and all laugh. But then he asks again, and I just respond that we are all judged according to our deeds..if we don't love in life then are not welcome. I walk away and head to a home.
I look in the mirror and notice my teeth are coming loose. They dont fall off but just hang in there half connected. I can see inside my mouth. Some teeth do fall off and have red caps on them. I remove it and notice my tooth is brown. I feel bad that this is happening and remain a long while looking at my teeth and then I wake up.

deep! I wonder if watermelon's considered soul food.....

just some initial thoughts off the top....

The being cut at the ankles is about some kind of hinderance I suppose.
The truck is about taking on stuff, or the capacity to to only take on so much.

Your car is your will and life direction.

The garden in scene 2 can be about life, bounty, and harvest. Have you been working
hard and getting rewarded well?

Common to see co workers or dream of work, since we spend at great deal of our time
there and around them. It even goes in line with the garden being about harvest and bounty, as that is a source of that for most.

Watermelon's are in season and a classic 7/4 picnic food. Perhaps you walked by and considered buying one
or actually did. Kid's love 'em!

What I enjoyed about reading your dream, imr, is the spiritual questions were the underlying part.
Tree's can represent thoughts of family, religion, aging or enlightenment.
The red fruit with all those seeds makes for a good analogous source for most of these concepts
Watermelon can be shaped like a pregnant woman's belly, also, so the who is the father can be a joke too.

The what happens if we kill ourselves was a touch disturbing. I hope that it's brought into the dream figuratively speaking as death of someone or something in dreams can be about the discontinuance of a belief or aspect of something as much as a real killing of a person. I dunno why, but suicide and watermelon's seem to connect in my mind in some odd way too. Like the seeds are the 'i' sounds in the word suicide, or descriptively as-sociable in some other way...juicy sweet red fruit. Aanagram-ically, maybe.

Teeth can be about either words you've said, your appearance, or family.
