We're wearing shorts but there's snow on the ground?

I had a dream last night that I was visiting a friend's house. It was daytime, summer, I remember we were both wearing jean shorts, but I remember seeing a dusting of snow on the ground. I don't think it was dew, or anything else because I remember being confused by the snow. So, anyway, we are walking down the lane to her shed so she could so me some paint she bought for a new project at her house. I remember being very relaxed, it was a beautiful summer day, she had a beautiful house in the country with woods on one side of the lane and open lawn on the other (this is not where she lives in real life, btw).

I'm sure it's significant to note that the friend I was visiting is the daughter of a recent ex-boyfriend. She and I continue to have a close relationship (one of the best things I got from him!)

There wasn't anything earth-shattering going on in this dream, but I've recently been through some very difficult times (yes, the breakup was one of them) and I've been having a lot of dreams, so I'm trying to pay attention to them. The main recurring theme, which was prevalent in this one too, was a feeling of well-being. It's good to feel like I'm finally on the right track and I think my sub-conscious is in agreement

The snow might not be snow but just the color white which represents new beginnings, clarity, peace, and cleanliness. It could represent your new beginning, your new state of mind. You were relaxed in your dream which means peace is coming to you. The girl in the dream could signify that shes meant to be a part of your life and that she needs you in her life.
