Black and White

Postby roseRed20 on Thu Jun 21, 2012 4:02 am

I have a question,
Ive heard lots about people who dream in color and the meanings and all that but what about people who never and I do mean NEVER dream in color?

I guess I shouldnt say never cuz there was this one dream years and years ago that I had and this black light poster was all in color really bright but nothing else in the dream was and no other dreams since. Their are times in my dream where I will just know that something is suppose to be a color. Kinda like how some times you just know who a person is in your dream even if you never see there face.
So if anyone could give a little insight into my black and white dreams that would be great!!

Colour in dreams reflects emotion and can represent certain ideas as well. A person who dreams without a lot of colour involved is usually a person who does not see everything with a very emotional perspective. Dreaming in black and white can simply imply that you are a more factual type of person. If you are a male, dreaming in black and white would be quite appropriate because a male is supposed to relate to life with logical thinking. It produces greater clarity of thought. For example, trying to see what really is through coloured glass gives an emotionally biased perception. If you were a female, your style of dreaming would be slightly more disturbing because it can indicate that a female is not allowing her feelings to have much of a say in her life when she has a right to them.

Many people do dream without much colour being involved, they just know something is supposed to be a colour. Colour is not an issue in their dreams. Colour adds information to a dream interpretation but it is quite possible that in your dreams, the kind of information colour provides is not necessary to deliver the message the dream has for you. In any case, not dreaming in colour should not worry you. Dreams are meant to provide you with information, not act as nighttime entertainment like a movie.

I call it mood lighting as it kinda sets the stage
for the type of dream you have...

Generally I dream in color and the more "good spirited"
the dream the more luminous the colors.
The more "bad spirited" It's dark, gloomy, black and white or grays...
then I am usually battling some evil.

It can represent some kind of measurement of how you're doing.
Naba = to prophesy
Daba = kind words
Doo! = w/enthusiasm

Thank you ElizVanZee for your reply, I almost gave up on getting a reply.
I am a female, and althought I find myself to be a free spirit, Im a trying artist, Who loves to be with nature! But I do tend to put my emotions way down deep where no one will find them or see them. I Dont find there as important as others I guess. Its not easy saying any of this but when you wrote what you did it hit a cord with me. Mostly for the fact that I dont dream in color except for the one I mentioned and well there are always the ones I dont remember of course. I just chalked it up to who I am. Except Im none of what you said for why people (men) dream in black and white. lol its kinda sad. Well I want to thank you for shinning some light on the subject for me it does give me lots to think about.
Thank you again Happy dreaming! Also thank you nadda doo I do tend to have more bad dreams then good even when there super good there still in black and white. There are times when I just know the color of some things.

Yeah, when I started out all my dreams were in black and white and I broke through :tomato: I take it there is different waves of light of dreams, as we all have to tap into different wave lengths or pixels.

You need to hop on that red eye! :goldblob:
