Ex-friend engaged then married. Recurring Dream.

Hello everyone! Normally I can interpret my own dreams using the dream dictionary but on this one I'm stomped. When looking up the key word ex-friend, engaged or married it never refers to what it means when you see someone else getting married or engaged. This being a recurring dream means my subconscious is really trying to tell me something important. Of course this dream had an variation first he was engaged then second time married. Can anyone help?
