The Adventures of Tintin (Spielberg, 2011)

This was terrific. Totally engaging, exciting,funny and action-packed. All the way around, this was an excellent film with nary a hair out of place. It's not quite perfect, but it is genuinely satisfying entertainment.
If you have not seen it, I urge you to- It is difficult to hate this film.

For me, it is the 40th 2011 release I've watched this year and I rank it at #10 (Below Herzog's Cave of Forgotten Dreams and above Reichardt's Meek's Cutoff).

Couldn't agree with you more. It was, to me, definitely one of this year's best movie-going experiences, and that's coming from someone who normally doesn't watch too many animation films.
