Napolean Dynomite-----Again, I'm sorry and should be ashamed but each time I watch this it just gets better

St. D, I must see the Get Low film. I haven't seen it yet but know that it is loosely based upon a real person (Felix Breazeale) and I have heard Duval is exceptional.

I also watched US Marshalls ( again ) I believe many years from now, people will rave about Tommy Lee Jones much like they do about Lawrence Olivier, James Stewart, Gregory Peck, Orsen Welles,.....What makes him such a great actor to me is whatever character he is playing, I believe that is who he is, not an actor playing that role.
I have as much authority as the Pope, I just don't have as many people who believe it.

Paul McCartney Really Is Dead.
It's an interesting documentary supposedly narrated by George Harrison suggesting that Beatle Paul McCartney originally died in a car crash in 1966 and that the Paul McCartney we see today is an impostor. If you're a music buff, conspiracy buff, or perhaps both I say check it out. It may make you think. Beside you can't be one of the greatest bands in existence without some conspiracy.

Dancer in the Dark. The last thirty minutes of the movie wanted to make me weep but I was too traumatized to do so. Nonetheless, it was one heck of a piece of art by Lars Von Trier and one flawless performance by Bjork.

Fast 5. It was facking intense, I really liked it. It's not like most the others where they're all about racing. This one is more of a heist movie. It's sweet.

Electric Shadows, which was one of the most charming movies I've ever seen and it's a movie that any film lover should watch as soon as they can get their hands on it.

I also finally watched the dubbed version of the 1988 Appleseed. It was one of the most horrible dubs I've ever heard but I loved it...so much. XD And I like the bro-ish relationship between Deunan and Briareos in it more than the romantic relationship they have in the new versions.

Gnomeo and Juliet was awful... I really didn't like it either. I thought it would be at least sort of interesting because of the new way they were telling the story, but no. I was already wishing it was over about 15 minutes into it! :P

The Green Hornet. I really didn't like it. Not funny, none of the characters were likeable, and just not interesting. The car was sweet, but that's pretty much it. Just wasn't very entertaining.

X-Men First Class.

Yeah I liked it, but I like the others a lot more. This one was good but it was very different. All no-name actors/actresses, they didn't even look much like their future selves, and it was just different. I like it when it focuses on one protagonist, but there wasn't one main character. I mean yeah, it was mostly about Professor X and Magneto, but I just didn't feel as connected to their characters. It feel like the movie was less personal in that way, where as the other movies follow Logan's story and whatnot. Charles' character just wasn't very convincing but besides that, I definitely liked it. I love all Marvel movies. Would definitely watch it again.

A New Hope. Yeah I'm not a huge SW fan or anything.

Good times. But yes, I have not watched any of them in a long-ass time. Even though the original came out 12 years before I was born, I grew up with those masterpieces of revolutionary film and they will forever be a big part of me. They resonate so deeply within me that I'd swear they were made for me. God knows I could go on forever about how truly profound they are. Soon I will watch the rest of the epic saga. :D

Now I regret not watching the prequels first, but oh well. So good. A long time ago (in a galaxy far, far away) this one was my favorite. But while nothing can beat The Empire Strikes Back, this one is still an epic classic. After watching the classics most recently, I realize better just how reflective the concept of the Empire is of our own 'negative elite.' The archetypal concepts in these masterpieces are many and very profound, though not easily extracted. It truly does reflect much I've learned of spirituality and I love it. Of course when I was but 6 and 7 years old, I had no grasp of the spiritual philosophy contained in these masterpieces. Funny that at such an age, my favorite movies were and are the reflection of me now. =]
