What's your favorite quote or scene from a film?

Postby Lillith » Wed Jun 20, 2012 3:02 am

As it says ^ :D

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the iniquities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Ezekiel 25:17

The first step in the acquisition of wisdom is silence, the second listening, the third memory, the fourth practice, the fifth teaching others.

Wayne's World
Wayne: "What is it?"
Crazy ex girlfriend: "It's a gun rack!"
Wayne: "I don't even own A gun! Therefore I don't own many guns that would necessitate a full rack"
Crazy ex girlfriend: "You don't like it? Fine. If you're not careful Wayne, you're gonna lose me"
Wayne: "I lost you 2 months ago, we broke up! Are you mental? Get the net!"
Some of the lines aren't spot on but I tried to remember.

"I wish to have roots."
"Leon the Proffessional" not to be confused with Golgo 13 the proffessional.
Ones got a frenchman and a starwars princess and the others got a Dude that does not say one word.

"I'm a Time Lord. From the planet Galifrey of the [something] system. I'm nine hundred years years old and I'm saving all of your lives. Are you okay with that?" Or "I bring you to a paradise planet two billion lightyears from earth and you want to update... Twitter!"

Both from Doctor Who. The first is from Voyage of the Damned and the second is from The Girl Who Waited.

From Cold Mountain
Every piece of this is Man's bullshit
They called this War A Cloud over the land
but they made the Weather
and then they stand in the rain
and say Shit, it's Raining!

Boondock Saints (I could quote this whole movie) the last scene in the court house before they kill a mob boss in front of everyone they are addressing the public and criminals.

Connor: Now you will receive us.
Murphy: We do not ask for your poor, or your hungry.
Connor: We do not want your tired and sick.
Murphy: It is your corrupt we claim.
Connor: It is your evil that will be sought by us.
Murphy: With every breath we shall hunt them down.
Connor: Each day, we will spill their blood till it rains down from the skies.
Murphy: Do not kill, do not rape, do not steal, these are principles which every man of every faith can embrace.
Connor: These are not polite suggestions, these are codes of behavior and those of you that ignore them will pay the dearest cost.
Murphy: There are varying degrees of evil, we urge you lesser forms of filth not to push the bounds and cross over, into true corruption, into our domain.
Connor: For if you do, one day you will look behind you and you will see we three. And on that day, you will reap it.
Murphy: And we will send you to whatever god you wish.

There is also this pray they say thru out the movie which is really cool.
"This perfect moment is brought to you by the mummified middle finger of Galileo, which is on display in a museum in Italy. May it inspire you to flip the bird at anyone who proudly embodies the kind of high level idiocy Galileo had endure."
