Let's see, tonight we're trying to use up all the little bits left in the fridge. I know we're having deer sausage for sure. I think I'll BBQ it. As for veggies, i'll roast something.

Tomorrow night though :D Ahh, lemon pepper and basil roasted chicken and vegetable tian. Waiting for the chicken to thaw so I can marinate the sucker.

Tonight, I will have red beans and rice. Right now the smell permeates my house. My mouth is watering.

uummmm steak!

The kids made lasagna on Mothers Day. :D It was delish!
Last night we had roasted chicken sandwiches with potato salad, Hawaiian sweet rolls, potato wedges, fresh french bread and a drink. We get this family meal deal for 4 for $9.99. Pretty good deal I think.

I could eat steak 5 nights week, if I was to be honest. That does sound like a good deal you got on that meal. Tonight is bar-b-q. So burgers.

I've been craving lasagna lately. I really want to try using my zucchini as noodles, but they're not big enough yet.
We'll be having sandwiches tonight. My hubby's been wanting a cold meal.

My special "dirty rice"

Smokes sausage browned in herbs, spices, sauce, butter, mixed in with sauteed celery, diced red bell pepper( most people would add onions but have in my house people severly allergic to onions), once warm, I mix in ro-tel tomatoes, black beans, and cooked rice, heat until warm and then serve with hotsauce on the side........

probably hot dogs. i had bought them (on markdown) with the intent of bringing them over to my mom's house and throwing them on her grill. however, she hit a jackpot at the casino yesterday and decided to share the wealth by treating her BF, my aunt, and i to a delicious steak dinner. so i guess i'll be eating the hot dogs tonight.

OMG Cap! I love dirty rice. I have been wanting something to have with shrimp and you reminded me of a dish I used to make. Jamaican jerk marinated shrimp and dirty rice. I'm buying shrimp and all the other ingredients when I go shopping. Thankies! :excited:

Thanks for the kind words!

Tonight is simple/quick semi-homemade:

Bowtie pasta
Alfredo sauce for the wifey (from a jar)
Marina Sauce for the Daughter (from a jar)
Fast grilled parmesean chicken breast-sliced so that they can add it to their pasta/sauce
Tossed Salad
Garlic Bread

Dessert-Turtle Cheesecake (bought from one of those school fundraiser things)

Me I will just have the pasta (no sauce except a little oil/butter and parmasean) salad/bread, a few green olives and a couple of cold beers with lime/salt.
