Heaven's gates?
The person has 3 choices of gates each time (shuffled anew)? He might choose the gate to heaven first try or he might be so unlucky he never gets the right gate. If you are asking for probabilities my guess would be 9 days.

The 3 meter jump includes the bottom of his feet?
I'm not sure if you meant that he slipped once (the first night)- in that case- 11 days.
If he slipped 2 meters every night, he is only making one meter per day & night

I said it was wrong and should be brought out and let it be known. But I believe there is bigger issues. I am not going to worried about everything wrong in the world, I would go nuts. I think by making a better world/peaceful world you wouldnt go for blood every time something wrong happens. Put him on public display and embarrass the shit out of him is good enough for me.

But if I had to pick a characteristic I would pick revenge or carelessness or fast judgments is what is wrong with this world. I am guilty too, I believe in the death penalty. Maybe he does do something like that I dont know. I have had an anger problem for many years (I explain this many times before) I been thru a lot of help to control it. I do know from years of help not to let your anger and emotions win. Yes what he did is wrong but I do think there should be blood drawn for it, no. Do I think he should go to prison, no...we already have overcrowding and I would much rather have a violent person behind bars than him. Ignorant is bliss, they say, but I like learning and knowing the whys and hows so I wouldnt want to be ignorant and shelter. To answer your first question about heaven's gate the answer is... the average would be 3 days. Simple Algebra, I am a math person and not a spelling and grammar person we all have our talents.

I want to know too Soulkiss although I tend to worry and that isn't fair- I get the worry part and don't get the genius part.

I also think that the public shaming is the proper penalty for the would-be hero of 911. He lied to the public and was exposed in the same way. There were also reports of people collecting 911 benefits that were not there and others soliciting funds for 911 victims under false pretense (theft)- those are the ones that should go to jail- IMO.

well i never actually met the person to say he is not a hard worker. it says he was a volunteer firefighter so he may be a hard worker and may have wanted to be a hero. who knows how he would have reacted if he were in such a situation like 9/11. it must have taken some courage to finally own up to living a lie.

Sharp girl! You nailed that exactly on the head. For the most part, no one questions someone who says they either DO serve, or HAVE served. People are still pretty trusting, and it's outside their understanding why someone would lie about that. These people aren't good people though, because they are trying to take advantage of the support, appreciation, and adoration the general population has for soldiers and use it for their own personal gain. It's no secret women love a man in uniform. It turns a lot of women on. So they are trying to manipulate women to their advantage for one. Secondly, it's not uncommon for people to buy drinks for you if they find out you're a soldier, so they are trying to manipulate their way into free drinks for someone else's sacrifice for another. Cowardly little pricks.

Do you all have id cards that you have in wallets you have to carry if in the military? If so, if creeper fake guys play being soldiers, girls should ask for proof. I agree, people are trusting, and lots don't want to call another an outright liar, so they works to the liars benefit.

What do you think women love about guys in uniform? Power, macho-ness? They do it for free drinks too? that is LOW!

1)Suppose the average days spent is X. 1/3 of the cases are done in zero days as before. 1/3 of the cases are 1 day plus X. 1/3 are 2 + X. So:

X = 1/3 * 0 + 1/3 * (1 + X) + 1/3 * (2 + X)
= 0 + 1/3 + X/3 + 2/3 + X/3
= 1 + 2X/3

Therefore,

X/3 = 1
X = 3

On average, it takes three days to get to heaven.

I don't think people like that man care enough to get embarrassed, he could be a sociopath, who knows. But I think to him this a minor blurb and I would wager no one wants this a-hole making any speaking rounds.

His lack of character to me symbolizes the fucked up nature of our world to a T. I believe in the death penalty too. I don't think he has it in him to ever be a hero, he could have been helping his community instead of going around living his lie.

Why do you think you have had anger issues in your past? That would not be at all evident from how you carry yourself on this website.

I don't think he will serve time on this either, but if he was made to made some monetary restitution that would work, and get some mental health help.

I think he used his position as a vol. ff to work his great lie, he could have did better with his time in his community then building a web of lies to make me a greater man than he is. Think early stages of Algebra. Yeah, it is easy but not a normal way of looking at it. Once you get it, you will kick yourself. Here is a BIG HINT: think carpentry or astronomy.

about the guy, yes he does have a lack of character and that's why I think he is getting exactly what he deserve and nothing more, trust me I dont feel sorry for him that all these ppl are angry at him. He did this to himself, and now his character, trust, and dignity are gone, I feel that is enough. He lie to the public now he has to face the public.

As for the anger thing. I been getting help for it since the beginning of high school. It stems from many things but I am an adult and my own person so I dont blame anything for it, just aware of my triggers, feelings, coping strategies, etc. It gets out of control, I shake really bad, cant breathe, vomiting, nails dig into palms until they bleed, a lot of fights, stay up for days and days, blackouts, I cry when I am really angry too, I dont think, I react like something crawling and tearing thru me that must get out right now. I have most of it under control now, but it still an issue so I still go to classes. The computer it is a lot easier to put my feelings in check, tho i did get really mad once, but then I learn what trolls were and I havent had a problem since. You Know cant hear their tone of voice, sucking their teeth, whispers under their breath, rolling of the eyes, body language etc. so, it is a lot easier to control over the computer. But I am a very nice person even in person just dont look down on me because I never been very good at keeping my feeling inside. i used to say I am a very nice if ppl just let me be nice.

I notice ppl treat me different base on my looks too (which I change a lot), when I am like my avatar ppl rarely say shit to me (under their breath they do, but just stare at them and they will stop and usually leave) but when I look normal and nice ppl think I am a target or something ( I dont get it..it's like ppl dont know how to be around someone who is nice) they find out very fast, I can be meaner and nastier than you if you want me to. Just 2 months ago I was in a store looking at some socks (sock sale on these long tables) and I smile at this lady, was very friendly and I think she took me as someone nice that you can push around because she push me so she could reach these one pair then I push her really hard back knock her right into the other table and I just glare at her, I could feel my anger rising, prepare if she dare said anything back to me but she walk away and I just dropped what I was doing and went home and just breath. I was shaking, I hate stuff like that. I dont want to really hurt anyone but I dont want someone to think you can push me around and nothing will be done. So, sometimes I like my anger.

I think most of us can say this. I hate it when people are rude and pushy. So sorry about the physical reactions you have- that's really painful! I have been whopping mad and know how much adrenaline it pumps into the system; I feel very lucky that my fits of anger are short lived: I can't imagine having to endure physical reactions that severe.

I probably walk around looking like one of Jojo's simpletons because I tend to smile or even grin- not aware of it until someone smiles back or says I look happy. I have to concentrate on frowning when I see aggressive panhandlers or I will get picked on. Although, when I lose it, I can really lose it- mostly from fear combined with anger; like a physical threat with a need to defend or protect. Then the adrenaline rush comes in screaming 'fight or flight'.

well even if i had three questions i wanted answers to, i know out of those answers will come more questions, and if those questions were answered then even more questions will pop up. and the cycle will never stop. at least for me. so for me its best to live in the mystery. the unknown can be both frightening and exicting at the same time.

I can walk away easier than before. Once that angry gets hold of me it hard for me to do anything but focus on my breathing. Most of the time I can say something not rudely either but when they dont respond or just brush it off or give my lip, I lose it. I pretty ok if I am just yelling but when I go silence or you see tears, it's over. If I can tell I really not going like this person, I relied on my intuition, you just get that feeling something is about to happen, I need to leave then. I ignore it sometimes because I like to give others the benefit of the doubt, but I should listen to my intuition more. The problem I have now is when I walk away I will obsess over it for days and I will eventually start to vomit like I just have to get this out of me...I used to have a punching bag I used to get my angry out, it wasnt good enough, now I have a thick board I hit, It takes the skin off and makes my knuckles bloody sometimes or my hands really swollen but the pain of it will redirect my focus. I actually hate pain and blood, and when I am not mad I cant handle other ppl or animals in pain or suffering it makes me physically sick and I faint at the sight of blood. When I used to get in fight I could get over my anger faster, but I also hurt ppl pretty bad sometimes like I said I blackout and I guess I wouldnt quit when I fight, I got my ass kick too sometimes but I cant feel anything until hours later.

Some others things I do to get my mind off it, I will throw myself in music...I write and mix music. I wont listen to anything that will make me angry, but I might play/write music myself that is more fast and slowly drop the tempo until it is calm but it takes days to do. I am a mood person and the moods of others or the environment around affects me a lot. So, I have to watch how much negative behavior I am around, when I start to feel irritable it is probably because I been around a lot negative behavior (like constant complaining) and I am at my limit for the month, so I need to removed myself from that environment for a week or so. I've gotten into a pushing matches with ppl, I still throw things or I will slightly hit someone, but I havent got into a fight or actually punch someone in over 2 years so, yeah it is a lot better. Also when I am getting to know someone and they kinda clash with me (personality wise), I only spend like 10mins with them at a time or so until I can find stuff I do like about them (there is good and bad things about all of us) and then I can focus on that, once I get to know ppl it is a lot easier to control my emotions even if I dont like them.

I've heard about this movement too, it only lasts until the end of this year and they have some big uncover of the night movement going on with it during the month of April.

I never heard of Kony before this, had you? and apparently the dude was #1 on the war crimes list or close.

@ Soul, Man that really affects you, lots of physical reactions. I can feel when I am about to go off too, it depends on who I am addressing at the time and how far I am willing to go with them. I've landed in jail before for fights in my late teens, early twenties, lolz.

So weighing if it is worth getting upset is something I learned to do for myself.

I read about this and some people I know are excited about this movement, it has really broke out since going viral. Good to help make a change in the world, bravo to this man who started this. Every city around the world can have a say in this and make a HUGE difference.

The hashtag "#stopkony" was among top trending topics on Twitter on Wednesday, vying for the top spot with tweets about the new iPad and Peyton Manning, who was released after 14 years as quarterback of the Indianapolis Colts.

The campaign was launched by the non-profit group Invisible Children with an emotional 30-minute video which has been viewed more than 7.3 million times on YouTube and attracted more than 150,000 comments.

I am just so curious how I'd die and when I would. I don't know how I would live with it but I think I would be constantly paranoid about everything O.O also it wouldn't be put out of my head easily since my head usually clings to memories

I've heard about this movement too, it only lasts until the end of this year and they have some big uncover of the night movement going on with it during the month of April.

I never heard of Kony before this, had you? and apparently the dude was #1 on the war crimes list or close.

Most of the time. I am pretty clumsy so I would see myself in a accident more likely but with the amount of people I make mad I would think I would either get shot or stabbed to death also. O.O oi me and my big mouth XD

Knowing the "when and how" of my own death would be the most liberating feeling in the world. No fear. No worries. Everything you have to fear now means nothing, because it's out of your hands. This will happen at this time and this place, until then you're safe.....COOL! I can't say I'd live much different from how I already live, since I'm a firm believer that you have to live like you might die tomorrow. The biggest change would be that two years out from my terminal date, I'd go vigilante and start fixing social problems one at a time. Wife or child beater? No problem! How does MY fist taste? Convicted rapist? Hi! My name is vengence, and this is my friend heroin addict. I told HA that your holding several ounces in your ass....and he REALLY needs a fix right now, so if you don't give it to him, he's going to go digging for it. I would kill those who deserved killing, and help those who have been neglected or abused. I would dance in the blood of bad people. For me I have thought about it, considering I had a brother kill himself, I grew up wondering how long I'd last. Like I said in the posters game on Pkid's question- I'd like to die riding on my motorbike, instant death, I'd hope. It is more likely I get taken out by some disease in my 60s.

I hate the idea of something prolonged, I'd rather it be fast and never knew what happened.

I'm actually kinda iffy on the whole kony thing now. I did some research and apparently only 32% of invisible children's funds go to the actual cause. The guy who made the video that started this whole stop kony thing makes 90k a year. I researched this after I watched the video. I agree to stop kony, but I don't agree to buy into the whole donate thing. Hell I've even gotten word that hes already dead. Society will believe anything you tell them

I think you have alot less fears than the rest of us have and you are at peace with what life gives you. Are you very religious?
You be a KICK-Ass vigilante better than that movie because you don't need to hide your identity. at how you worked it all out. It is what you'd do. Would abusers be first, or killers, rapists? Do you have a greatest hate for one over another.

I've been seeing this too Smiles. The video author did stir things up really good, that helped! But there were some hard questions on CNN about the transparency of funding the charity as well- how are people assured of money getting to the cause? I agree that 32% is too low and what does go out (how/ who/ where) isn't clear.

What they need to do instead of always asking ppl for money is get ppl to put pressure on the UN to do their jobs, it is stuff like this that the UN was form for. I wish the US would pull out of the UN. I dont trust most charities even if is a good cause because not enough goes to the cause, I think at least 80% should go (90,000 income probably not counting all the tax write off either, not good) to me that is exploiting the children to gain. But as I put in another thread (3 words to describe american culture) was generous we hear something bad and we just throw money at it. Plus there are charities you think is a good cause but actually will do worse harm when you do the research (not sayin this one is).

I don't think they captured or killed him yet, Smiles. These mass murderers are very careful and have lots of people protecting and hiding them. Is alot of their money going to public promotions and awareness of the man and the issue? I never heard of Kony before I saw that vid. Would people be happy if at least 50% went towards the children? I ask cuz my mother spoke out two days ago to a woman she slightly knows and got a major backlash not only from the woman but people standing with her, and she didn't approach the woman nastily, but people hate others pointing fingers, look at others on here lol they do wrong and if anyone dares to speak about it they throw a fit

Pressure, just human failure on his part, idk. I am disturbed more that it may distract from what that movement was going to
prove............... that with all the new social media, the masses can actually have a seat at the table when it comes to how the world is.

I am reminded of a big issue at a local ATL church where the pastor (Bishop Eddie Long, a self-proclaimed Bishop btw)
had a sex scandal.... but the moral of that story was that if the members of his church were coming to Church for him.... then his Parish was mis guided anyway...Of course clergy should be and act above reproach... but when they don't it should cloud your focus on what Church is.

..so to my mind, his Russell deal is 'kind of similar' regardless of how he wound up naked in the street.
