Hey Jojo! Nice to see you!
I'll put you on my list as a fun and very likeable person we have been missing. Welcome back!

adding to silly questions:
Could this be the all-time stupidest criminal and would you lighten his sentence for being so dumb?

According to the Irish Times, Gary Byrne, of Dublin, Ireland, masterminded a raid on a gold storage business. Byrne left the scene of the robbery locking the security shutters behind him, trapping his two accomplices, Ian Jordan and Aidan Murphy, inside in the process. Jordan and Murphy were trapped at the scene of the crime, along with two staff members who the gang had bound and gagged. Unable to escape, fire services had to cut through the security shutters to release the trapped robbers, at which point they were taken into custody by police.

Byrne, who was to be the gang's getaway driver, was sentenced to seven years for attempted robbery, possession of an imitation firearm, and two counts of false imprisonment. Unfortunately for Byrne, the judge said, "One thing is for sure his ineptitude and stupidity does not, in any way, reduce his culpability." (Although)- The judge seemed to feel sorry for the hapless criminal, telling him that he would give him “the benefit of his stupidity” and suspend the final two years.

that depends on how you look at it. you don't seem like someone who is going to sit back and do nothing if there is something going on. you seem to like to participate. thats what i meant. i see nothing wrong in that. of course i don't know you so i just go by what i read from your post.
KRSTYSTLCLR wrote:When you die, would you want to be buried or cremated?
i've answered this already but i'll answer again. at 21 i made a will to be cremated. just the thought of me being buried alive by mistake scares the shit out of me. even though the chances of that happening are very slim, you just never know.
KRSTYSTLCLR wrote:Do you want a service or would you not want your family to be bothered with going through all that?
thats up to the family. i always thought of having an awake service at a private beach, with music playing, and food for everyone when i die. instead of a priest, we can have a clown performing magic tricks. at a church it would be to boring. especially if the weather is nice. :P

Cremated. Sprinklle me somewhere nice. I think the services are more for the family and closure. I would just like everybody hanging out, good food and drink. Telling the "Omg do you remember when BLUE ..." Trust me they have a lot of crazy stories. Laughter is a good healer. :)

Thank you all for the nice words.

I would want to be cremated. I don't think I would want a memorial or wake or anything. I think we are just a shell when we are gone. What's the purpose of having a memorial? For me, I wouldn't want anyone to spend any money on me when I'm gone.

I like the idea of my ashes being sprinkled somewhere beautiful. Maybe over the edge of a huge waterfall. :heartpump: That might be illegal though. :(

I love all the words everyone gave me, thanks.

I want to be buried so when the nuclear war comes and everyone is almost wipe out and then from a long time from now someone will dig me up (maybe even aliens) and can make me a famous discovery. Also they can learn about the time in this era, I plan on being buried with my diaries, some of my favorite things. I am kidding, well kinda, I hate fire so no burning me, I have a fear of being burn alive not buried alive.

KRSTYSTLCLR wrote:When you die, would you want to be buried or cremated? Do you want a service or would you not want your family to be bothered with going through all that?

Cremation or burial- IDK but the services are for the living. Our existence can only continue as memories and if memories continue to bring joy to others when we are gone, we have lived well.
The only thing I can think of is to make provisions in the will to lessen the burden of final arrangements for the family.
Soulkiss333 wrote:Who is your favorite super hero?

Mine is Batman too. I liked the other characters in the story as well- the joker, mumbles... funny/ unique/ entertaining.
jojo wrote:lol at that criminal, mastermind is a funny word for them to call him,

We missed your great sense of humor Jojo!
I might have added 'destruction of private property' to the charges- it was his fault that the security gates had to be cut open.
I also had to wonder about the other two accomplices- trusting him to be "get-away" driver?

Never told anyone but I want to be Cremated. I would rot away in the coffin anyways. I leave it up to my family and friends if they want to throw a service. Maybe a Irish wake. .-. I don't know if I'd want a service though. It would to me seem to burden the family and others paying for it.

I like the forum drama free, so if that means deader then that is the way it should be.

If you want it busier do a contest or ask Bubby to do one again.

I was 7 or 8 for the egg hunts, all the cousins were made to do that, lolz.

@ PK- Bubby ran a contest for Dream Moods King and Queen 2 years in a row. I was in last years, Xwikki and Ziggy won it, but Ziggy gave up his title to runner up, Yoshi.

She wrote on a thread why she skipped this year, malek was reason.

That created alot of forum posting, so if you want a busier forum make a contest up.

You like to draw, do a drawing poster's contest, best drawing wins contest.

Good idea Jeremy. Maybe we could do one like a year book style. Make several polls for say like biggest pic whore, or sweetest disposition, meant to be a Rock God, biggest pain in the neck, most humerous, most caring, forum clown, etc.

Then have a run off with the top 2 or 3 of each category.

IDK, sound o.k. anyone?
I'll volunteer if someone will help me set it all up...

Silly Question, have you ever ( passed gas in a most innapropriate place) and couldn't play it off?

Yes, Yes I have. Classroom. What made it worse is that it wasn't a tiny pass but it was a loud RIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP and it was during a quiet moment in class XP. That was one moment I couldn't run away from!!! XD  and I couldn't play it off or point the finger at anyone else.

That sounds good Krsty, Jeremy and Pk. I'll help if I am on :geek: Do you make lots of different polls or one big one?

@ Krsty's question: No, not yet, not around anyone who matters  :D

@ Soul for superhero I like Mystique.

@ Jeff: if I needed the money I would. I'd have to be desperate.

@ Jeremy's question: There's lots of things I wouldn't trade for $1 mil; family, love, health, happiness... Money does enhance some of these things by providing comfort or care but it doesn't take $1 mil. to be comfortable. Wealth can cause problems too; more than it's worth- greed- some will kill for it. Sure we like to dream of winning the lottery but we don't imagine giving up anything in exchange. And if you do win- better be careful- it makes you a target.

@ Jeff- that kind of poverty is too painful to imagine but I suppose I'd have to do something if my family was starving.

@ Krsty- LOL, the Easter egg hunt is just too cute to give up- round up the children- fun to color them too. I forget how old but as a child I found a baby rabbit on an Easter egg hunt- I thought it was the Easter bunny! What a fine mess it made for my parents! I took a baby rabbit from its mother and they had to nurse it until it was big enough to survive on its own. I think that's when I came to realize that there's no Easter bunny- why is it kept in a cage? That's not right!

Krsty- you can think up some whoppers! Passing gas? I'm sure I have but don't recall a particular incident. My cat did that one day and it was hilarious. She was sleeping at the end of the bed and all of a sudden POP! It woke her up and she ran having no idea where THAT came from- fur standing on end, back hunched, ready to defend herself. :rawr: I started laughing and she looked at me very hurt- she thought I did something while she was sleeping.

 I surely must have done that too PK- just way too embarrassing to remember so I buried it deep in the subconscious- heck, for all I know, it happened just yesterday. :tomato:

O.k. here is my embarrasing pass gas moment.
I took my kids and one of their friends to see Signs with Mel Gibson in the theater. Everyone was engrossed in the movie and it was at a very suspenceful point where the family is in the basement and there is just silence before the alien crashes his hand through the wall and nearly grabs the young son's shoulder. While that scene was building to a climax, my younges son, who was sitting next to me with his feet up on the railing in front of us, let a huge one rip! He yelled immidately, "EEWWW Mom!"
The theater was pretty quiet for about 30 seconds....and then laughter erupted!

@ jojo
I think if we can come up with 3 or 4 main categories, each one would have its own poll. I was thinking of asking Webbie to allow a second title to the winners or maybe a mock award for each winners siggie area...???

@B4W
Lol...I think of some doozies alright. :) All in fun though. I love your Easter Bunny story.

When I was about 5 I left an egg and candy and milk for the Easter Bunny. The next morning, I was so excited to see that the Easter Bunny had enjoyed the snacks I had put out. Then I noticed there were finger prints on the shell of the egg, and I was so excited because we could take the prints to the police department and Identify the Easter Bunny! Rofl

Tries again.

I wrote you a whole reply on this and on your poll stuff and forum logged me out.

Lol  on what your son did, he couldn't use the family dog as his excuse so he used Mom. I bet he planned his time to do it too. Even funnier.

On the polls, I like Biggest pic whore, I automatically think Jon, he will take that one, lol. How about sexiest male and female? forum darlings male and female? biggest forum helper/supporter? Like you said funniest poster, on biggest pain neck that would only have 1 or 2 names on it  Rock God or Goddess is a good one too.
Should make up your polls and add the names you want on them. :icecream:

Hi Jeff...I would love some help!

Should I post potential categories first and have a vote on that? Or should I just pick 5 categories myself and poll for male and female winners for each category. Or do you want to run the polls? Maybe you and Jojo could PM me to get things ironed out? You have been here much longer than I, and I have never posted a poll. I guess Jojo is right about choosing contenders for each category and then polling for the winners....Or should we let forum members nominate whoever they want and just tally the winners?....
Oh my...what can of worms have I opened??

You can use my name in your polls, permission given since I do not log in daily.

Don't forget PK wants to do it too.

Don't ask people, just make polls with their names. 2c.
