Love those days when nothing makes you frown

dumping my bf made me frown today but I feel so much relief not in conflict with myself some things just aren't meant to be :)

my area at work is a clusterfuck, i've been having to stop what i'm doing a lot to help other people with their problems, i got a bunch of the crappy work to do, i had to keep turning my printers off and on because they kept acting up, i am extremely fatigued due to much of this and long hours and having not gotten much rest this weekend, and i still haven't gotten transferred to the position i was approved for.

there was no lead in my area today, so today i sorta had to assume the position. this meant i was constantly being interrupted, which made it very difficult to get any work done myself at a productive pace. on top of that, i didn't have the sheet of paper i needed to print off invoices for some work that came in, so right now there are a bunch of boxes lying around and contributing to the clusterfuck. all the while, the people around me were looking to me for answers about what they should start on next. also, although we are getting some much-needed help with new people being hired, there was one girl who was re-hired who i always thought of as annoying as hell. it is also gotten to the point that i no longer enjoy my breaks in the breakroom, due to people and their fucking obsession with their cellphones and the shit "music" that they listen to without the courtesy of using headphones.

if only the odds of me winning the lottery were favorable......

it has been raining for about a week now, and although it was much needed, my grass got pretty long during that time. i had a small window of opportunity to do at least the front yard today, but i still got rained on. i was determined to finish, though, and i did just that.

i am sorry to hear that. i've had to make the decision for two of my dogs when they got old and sick/painful, and although it too was for the best, losing them was still very hard. :hugs:

I'm sorry BLUE. I know how that feels. I lost my 2 very favorite clients in 2010. I still think about them often and miss them. I always think of the man I worked for and how young he was. We made each other laugh a lot. Good man he was an left too soon. My other one was a wonderful woman that lived to see her 100th Birthday. The family threw a grand party for her, and a few of her oldest remaining friends made it to the party. That was a beautiful day! She was the most inspiring person I have ever met. So kind and NEVER said a bad word against another person. Never complained of pain, (which made it a bit hard to help her when it was obvious) She would phrase her comments very carefully and make sure if she had a problem with someone's actions or such, it never showed in her words to others. I think she was in every way the epitome of a good Christian woman. Sweetest thing that ever lived and I was lucky enough to have known her.

i swear that some of my coworkers are fucking retarded, lazy as hell, or just plain don''t give a damn. or maybe all of the above.

i feel like a damn dog as it is at work. after all, me and my "kennelmate" work in a small area in the warehouse that is surrounded by a chain link cage. we are having a very hard time getting things done lately because people keep fucking up and we are having to stop what we are doing to investigate and correct what these idiots did. because we have had problems with people losing scan guns and batteries, my kennelmate and i now have to assign these out to people, and there are frequent interruptions because of faulty guns/batteries or because people just don't like the gun they got. and today, we were just informed that we are going to have to learn a whole new system, because we are having new responsibilities dumped on us. we were being shown how to do stuff on this system, but it all looks pretty greek to me.

Lots of things:

- people on Yahoo saying fucked-up shit about a 10-year-old boy who gave a speech about gay marriage;

- people slut-shaming Kristen Stewart when (1) all she did was kiss the guy (from my understanding), and (2) she did nothing to them personally;

- it's getting ready to storm outside and I need to head home in a minute; and

- as usual, human trafficking, War On Women, politics in general, recent trend of people going missing (which may very well be in tandem with human trafficking--there have been a lot of girls disappearing lately), another homicide in Louisville every time you turn on the damn news (one of the latest was a 17-year old boy getting shot on a bus)...the shit list goes on :roll:
You can't change where you came from, but you can change where you are going.
