it's not my first piercing. The only one i have at the minute though. Think thats where i went wrong with my ears. Went straight for rings instead of bars. wanted a ring with my nose, but was told a bar will help it heal better. Can change it to a ring after 8wks

Doesn't hurt as much as my ears did.

Speaking of ears, I pierced my own recently and it still isn't healing properly. I went out and got my tragus pierced a while before it and had to take it out since it got infected. :drool:

I didn't have any problems with my lip so I assume my ears just don't like piercings.

I went straight for a ring with my lip. My lip flesh is still in the shape of the ring. It's creepy as fuck.
Nose piercings are pretty cool, they tend to look really good on most people with either a bar or a ring, so even while it's healing it'll look good.

You should go without the glasses more often, although I will admit to being a bit of a sunglasses whore myself, since I am rarely seen between the hours of 0800-1900 without them myself. Body armor hon. That rig is a kevlar vest with multiple ceramic plate inserts designed to stop shrapnel, small arms fire, and high-powered rifle rounds. Mounted on the front is a rifleman's rig with an additional 8 magazine pouches for the M4/M16 rifle with several other accessories attached as well. That little vest right there weighs in at a hefty 65 pounds, give or take a few pounds.

That is alot to be wearing daily, do you have to walk for hours in all of that? 65 lbs? The army is not for weaklings. I will post a new photo of me too since you posted several, along with others--then I will not have to in the new year.

We don't always have to wear all that every day. You have days where you don't. Some days you do a lot of walking in it, and other days you do more sitting than standing. It's a little bit of everything honestly. It is heavy as hell though. If there's a secret to making it comfortable, I have no idea what it is.

Do any of you guys throw your backs out or get hernias wearing all of that? I am not sure if that is a silly question, but I was wondering.

Very nice darling. It is nice to see you smile from time to time.

If properly worn, the armor actually carries pretty well. It's still heavy on the shoulders though. The armor alone doesn't cause any serious injuries to my knowledge, although twists and sprains are far more common when wearing it than not. There are definitely a higher percentage of back injuries in those who have to wear it too.
