I don't normally do sweets, but I made a pumpkin cheese cake infused with cool whip and topped with cool whip....if you like pumpkin pie ( with cool whip) and cheese cake this is a great combination......

Mmmmmmmmm....sounds good! I'll take mine medium rare if you don't mind!

Last night my wife combined two of her classics: Creamed chicken (with peas and flour and chicken broth) AND this Penne pasta with steamed veggies (broccoli, cauliflower, carrots, snowpeas, water chestnut) in Alfredo sauce.

She mixed these together in the same bowl: The blend was like a really good dream!

Love to cook for you!

Tonight I'm making my special "blue blazzers" chicken wings for a neighbors party.....I grill my chicken wings then toss with a "buffalo sauce" mixed with a special homemade blue cheese dressing......so you don' have to dip them in the blue cheese.......I'm also grilling some what I call "mexican" steak cabob's......I marinate the meat in a fajita marinade, and then on the cabob, I have whole jalepenos (stuffed with cream cheese and wrapped in bacon) with the steak I also have some avacado's on the cabob as well..........all served with mexican beer in mugs with lime and salt! :eat:

^ Yummies. I love chocolate cake.

I miss all of GG's food photos. :(

I made up a light pasta dish for my grandparents for lunch. No meat in it, only spices, sauce and some cheese.
Gran & I liked it at least.

looks quite tasty. :eat:

my (first) turkey turned out well, and for the most part, my first time hosting thanksgiving turned out well. also, my mom makes an apple pie every year, but usually some would go to waste. however, this year she ended up doing something different. she made an apple crisp pie....omg. the bottom part of the pie was a regular crust, but the top of it was crumbly like an apple crisp. holy shit that was awesome, especially served warm with vanilla ice cream, and there are only a couple pieces left. mom said she just might have to make another one soon since it went so fast.

i've been in my house for a year now, and i just recently bought a dining table/chairs. wow, i am especially happy with it now, seeing how big it really was when i put in both leaves.

regarding red plates.......funny thing is that i rediscovered red to be one of my favorite colors as i've been doing work on my house. much of my house is painted a blue-grey color, except for the kitchen which is a sage green, and i find myself picking red items to add color to some rooms. i bought a new set of dishes somewhat recently, and they are red and black.
