Still single, not looking (at least not actively), not really concerned. Of course, the time will come again when I'll start looking but now's not the time.

I am the same as you-- I figure if the right man arrives I will know it and be ready, no need to worry about that, it has never been a priority for me. Life is so full and wasting your time wanting to be in a relationship takes away from living the life you have now.

I guess this the update your romantic life thread. I went to a wedding party, pre dinner event and was introduced to a friend of the bride's who flew in from out of town. We hit it off immediately and talked the whole night, exchanged numbers and are even discussing dating. I think it must have been fate to meet, we seem like good matches. Like my grandpa always said good things come to good people if they have the patience to wait for them to arrive on their doorstep. Thanks gramps, keep looking out.

I just got back off my honeymoon. Had a nice wedding, we cut it down in size, made it 50 close friends and family instead. Spent the money for her dress and the honeymoon. [So that should explain my absence, that and the band did a short tour a month ago before the wedding and we moved.]

That is si true in every way. I am so glad I finally have the one I can call mine. When you both can see future in eachother it is the best. And about the marriage. If you truly love her and want to spend the rest of your life with her, do it!! I believe that you don't have to have a great job or a lot of money or anything else to tell someone you want to spend the rest of your life with them. That's my theory. I am not old (17) and am not the wise owl here, but that's just how I feel! And I am very glad that you are happy with your gf. We are still pulling through steadily, even after all the shiznit he had to go through (he is doing muchbetter now!) and yesterday he was very excited when I told him that I qualified for guaranteed acceptance at the college I really wanna go to. it is somewhat close to him (but f we break up, that will NOT stop me from going to that school if I am accepted. I was actually looking at schools in that area before I met him) but yeah... I'm very happy and I deserve to be for once
