Love it? Quote it!

Got something on your mind? Get it off your chest! Talk about anything here...well almost anything.

Love it? Quote it!

Postby Jon! » Sun May 02, 2010 7:06 am

You know when you hear of an amazing quote and you just wana share cos it's so damn great? Well share it right here! Rules are you MUST state where the quote who the quote has come fom and where you heard it! Remember, this is not your favourit quotes, these are quotes you just happen to come by and feel the need to make a mental note of if it's meaningful or just plain hilarious! :D

I'm guna quote one I heard yesterday which is the most hilarious thing I've ever heard!

"You best put seatbelts on your ears, Roy! Because I'm going to take them for the ride of their life!" - quoted by Moss, The IT Crowd

I didn't know which quote to choose from this person because he is a fucking legend! Check him out yourselves if you wish. He is the funniest and smartest comedian (From my point of view at least). Youtube is full of his shows.

“The world is like a ride in an amusement park. And when you choose to go on it you think it's real because that's how powerful our minds are. And the ride goes up and down and round and round. It has thrills and chills and it's very brightly coloured and it's very loud and it's fun, for a while. Some people have been on the ride for a long time and they begin to question: "Is this real, or is this just a ride?" And other people have remembered, and they come back to us, they say, "Hey, don't worry, don't be afraid, ever, because this is just a ride." And we kill those people.”

Bill Hicks, I think from Retaliation. The final part.

"Warning: If you are reading this then this warning is for you. Every word you read of this useless fine print is another second off your life. Don't you have other things to do? Is your life so empty that you honestly can't think of a better way to spend these moments? Or are you so impressed with authority that you give respect and credence to all that claim it? Do you read everything you're supposed to read? Do you think every thing you're supposed to think? Buy what you're told to want? Get out of your apartment. Meet a member of the opposite sex. Stop the excessive shopping and masturbation. Quit your job. Start a fight. Prove you're alive. If you don't claim your humanity you will become a statistic. You have been warned- Tyler." ~ Tyler Durden; Fight Club [Legal disclaimer at the beginning of the DVD]

Well, Mitch died in '05 so I dunno.
