lol Thanks! He's my other baby. :heartpump:

Smartest dog I've ever had. He follows my boys around like their own secret service.

He's just a little big.. weighs the same as I do and stands taller.

        I'm not a pocketbook-dog kind of girl. :D

cecilia, i :heartpump: american bulldogs. my brother had a couple of them.

megan, do i ever know "that look" that your kitty is giving you. my own cat, hannibal, does the same thing to me. i find it creepy when their pupils are totally dilated like that. you also have a nice looking sheppy. when i saw your avatar, i had to laugh because it reminds me of how my current dog and hannibal used to play - like this:

        lol Thank you!

Oliver was a rescue feral, so he has very wild tendencies. We had his claws removed, but he has adapted well to biting.

Mine NEVER play like that together. Odin would love to, but Oliver hates him.

That is the cutest boston terrier, ever!!

I have one dog :) Sebastian he is what i call a ChiPom which is a chihuahua pomeranian mix... I have a special nickname for him and that is "My taquito" We had rescued him from the humane society (all my previous dogs were rescues too) he has recently started waking me by licking and/or chewing on my ear And recently we rescued a Chihuahua terrier mix named Molly :) I love them dearly... :heartpump:

Okay that's weird. I was scrolling down in this page while listening to a song and the lyrics were "The snakes they're slithering in" at the exact moment the picture of the snake comes up. Oh how I love synchronicity.

Anyway! Those are some awesome pets, Miss Zip! I remember seeing pics of your bearded dragon a while back -- before he was named. That's so awesome that you named him Spyro!

Just saw this! Lol why's it so strange? He lives with my mum now though, my bf don't like dogs :(

But I just came in here to say how much I miss this guy

          Image

Lost him to a virus back in 2012 and I really do still miss him so much. He wasnt just a leopard gecko, he was my buddy. Never had a bond with a pet like I did with him. Hurt so much to part with him, I had him cremated and he now sits on my fireplace. I just wish I'd done more, maybe kept him in a different room and he'd still be here :(

He was captive bred, not wild caught. If I'd have ever released him he would still be there now, staring at the sky waiting for food to drop lol bless him. I get where you're coming from with caging wild animals. But just like the geckos we breed today as pets, domestic cats were once wild too, and dogs... And hell, pretty much everything we have domesticated ;)

I have adopted a wolf from the zoo. You can't take him home, but you can name and feed him. Now I have a young wolf named Luna living in a zoo, and I can pet him.

:) Where im from we have timber wolfs, found mainly in the high country. We have a camp on a lake in the moutains. I grew up there an i love it. For a while i lived there, one drive home from work my hubby an i saw what looked like a dirty grey long legged dog. As we drove closer i could see she was a breast feeding female wolf. She had a thin grey cable with a silver tag around her neck. I saw all this because i did a super stupid thing, i reached out my window an fed he bologna. At first she just sniffed it, but then she jumped up an put two huge grey paws on my door. Yea im crazy but somthing told me it was ok. I continued to feed her a half pound of bologna. She even licked my fingers, my hubby wasnt to happy i touched her though, or maybe he was ticked off i fed her his bologna lol.

I don't see what's wrong with feeding a timber wolf some bologna. They can eat it.

A feeding mother wolf would of never come up to your car. I don't believe that story, unless it was someone's dog.

Sometimes dogs and wolves interbreed. When I lived in Nebraska someone had a 'pet wolf' that they raised from a puppy / dog mix.

It is illegal to keep a wolf though. There is no telling when the 'wildness ' will come out of them and they revert to being a wolf.

It's unusual, but not unheard of.
