I'm quite fond of miniature schnauzers and used to have one myself. She had been with us since before I could remember. I believe they live for quite some time as ours was 14-years-old before she died.

Used to have a pug too. I miss my dogs.

She's got part of her life story posted on page one of this thread. Your pics are so cute! It's funny, Aurora (see below) pretends to look down upon Akasha when we're around, but when she thinks no one is looking she goes into cuddle and/or play mode with her. :roll:

you know it's funny.....with the exception of sweaters and jackets to protect a dog from the cold, or other practical accessories, i've never been one to "humanize" a dog by dressing it just for the sake of dressing it up. however, i admit i recently bought my dog an elf costume for xmas. :oops:

This is my cat Amber. We've had here for nearly 13 years, dont know how old that makes her in cat years!

She's a tortoiseshell and white, has serious attitude and has a '3 stroke rule'. 3 strokes, then you get bitten. She also likes ankles and stealing your seat if you get up!!

She's a legend!!!

This is Lucas a dog my parents have adopted from the shelter until the spring. Lucas and other animals get to have foster families to help give them a chance of getting adopted at one point. They have a good friend who works at one of our local animal shelters.

I was wondering if anybody knows a home remidy for an ear infection on a dog. My golden retreiver has a really bad infection and i feel bad for him.
I did take him to the vet but all they do is take ur money give a pill and thats that. I been cleaning it and sprayed some itching spray so he could have some peace
but my poor baby is miserable

. Im giving him an antibiotic called Cephalexin and that made it worse cus now he has nasty white pus comming out of it.
Im tempted to go buy him some antifungle cream. I donno. Anybody?.

looks like jinx had a nice lazy day, much like my critters and i did.

i had walked in my bedroom earlier today and found pickles curled up on my bed. feeling a little tired myself, i lied down too, and hannibal joined us shortly after. unfortunately i didn't really get any sleep, though, thanks a lot to the neighbor's dog barking.

i later placed an ultrasonic anti-barking device right outside my bedroom window, so i can at least annoy the shit out of him when he annoys the shit out of me.

haha yeah most cats are scared of young kids. My cats were about a year when my first was born, and they were so curious about the baby. Jack (the orange one) would groom my daughters hair, and sleep at her feet. We were always nervous about him sleeping with her, just in case he might accidentally suffocate her (as some cats have accidentally done that), so we would pick him up after a few minutes, but it was so cute =)
